Beginner's Guide to Rotations (Gold Lane)

Gold lane rotation

Gold Lane is the carry role in Mobile Legends. New players in SEA often stay glued to their lane for 10 minutes -- that's a mistake. Here's when and why you should rotate.

Positioning Rules

  • Never face-check a bush alone -- use first skill or let the tank lead
  • If your lane opponent roams, push the lane -- punish their absence
  • Always carry 1 Hunter Strike for the movement speed
Gold Lane Core Build
- Boots: Swift or Arcane (depending on hero)
- First item: Berserker's Fury or Feather of Heaven
- Defensive: Wind of Nature (vs physical) or Athena's Shield (vs magic)
- Late game: Immortality or Malefic Roar

Teamfight positioning

Remember: 1 assist in a mid-teamfight is worth more than 2 minions in your lane. The SEA meta favors aggressive rotations. Watch how Filipino gold laners play -- they rotate at level 4 and never stop moving. Your CS is important, but your presence at objectives wins games.
