Beginner's Guide to Rotations (Gold Lane)
AdminJuly 8, 202617 views
Gold Lane is the carry role in Mobile Legends. New players in SEA often stay glued to their lane for 10 minutes -- that's a mistake. Here's when and why you should rotate.
Rotation Timing
| Minute | Action | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 0:00 - 1:30 | Lane farm | Secure first wave |
| 1:30 - 2:00 | Take Lithowanderer | Free gold + vision |
| 2:00 - 2:30 | Rotate mid | Help mage get turtle vision |
| 4:00+ | Turtle fights | Always rotate to turtle |
| 7:00+ | Lord setup | Group with team |
Positioning Rules
- Never face-check a bush alone -- use first skill or let the tank lead
- If your lane opponent roams, push the lane -- punish their absence
- Always carry 1 Hunter Strike for the movement speed
Gold Lane Core Build
- Boots: Swift or Arcane (depending on hero)
- First item: Berserker's Fury or Feather of Heaven
- Defensive: Wind of Nature (vs physical) or Athena's Shield (vs magic)
- Late game: Immortality or Malefic Roar
Remember: 1 assist in a mid-teamfight is worth more than 2 minions in your lane. The SEA meta favors aggressive rotations. Watch how Filipino gold laners play -- they rotate at level 4 and never stop moving. Your CS is important, but your presence at objectives wins games.
