Ranked mode is not about mechanical skill. It is about decision-making, drafting, and mental discipline. This system has been tested across multiple accounts.
Phase 1: The Right Mindset
The Rule
- 40%: Your skill and mechanics
- 40%: Team composition and draft
- 20%: Luck (teammates, connection, matchmaking)
You cannot control the 20%. You can control the 80%. Focus on that.
Performance Tracking
Track these 3 metrics every session:
- KDA (Kills + Assists / Deaths): Target 4.0+
- Gold Per Minute: Target 600+ for carries, 400+ for tanks
- Turret Damage: Target 2000+ per game (most underrated stat β turrets win games)
Phase 2: Drafting
The Ideal Team Composition
Every ranked game needs all 5 roles:
- Tank/Support (Roam) β Initiation + map vision
- Fighter (EXP Lane) β Frontline pressure + split push
- Mage (Mid Lane) β Wave clear + AoE burst
- Assassin (Jungle) β Objective secure + ganks
- Marksman (Gold Lane) β Late game hyper-carry
Ban Priority (Current Meta)
- Fanny β Unbeatable in skilled hands, can 1v5
- Ling β Snowballs too hard with purple buff
- Joy β Mobility + damage combo is oppressive

Phase 3: Early Game (0-5 Minutes)
Lane-Specific Goals
EXP Lane:
- Level 2 power spike: Get to lane bush before minions meet
- Freeze wave near your turret for safety against ganks
- Rotate to Turtle only if you pushed your wave first
- If you die once: play safe, do not die again (1 death = 300 gold to enemy)
Jungler:
- Full clear route: Blue buff β Lithowanderer β Crab β Red buff
- First gank at Level 4 with Retribution available
- NEVER contest Turtle without Retribution ready (enemy will steal it)
- Invade enemy blue buff if you see their jungler at red (opposite side)
Mid Lane:
- Clear wave in 3 seconds β Roam to side lane β Return for next wave
- This 15-second rotation pattern puts constant pressure
- Always contest the River Crab (it gives vision + movement speed)
- River Crab respawn timer: 1:15 β be there
Gold Lane Marksman:
- First priority: DO NOT DIE
- Last hit every single minion (extra gold adds up fast)
- Rotate only when your turret is safe from enemy minions
- If your roamer leaves you: ward the bush and play under turret
Roam Tank:
- Help mid clear the first minion wave
- Check which buff the enemy jungler starts β determine their path
- Scouting: check Turtle pit 30 seconds before 2:00 spawn
- Face-check bushes for your team (your body absorbs the initial burst)
Phase 4: Mid Game (5-12 Minutes)
Objective Priority
Turret > Turtle > Kills > Jungle Buffs
Turtle Timing
- First Turtle: 2:00 (start moving at 1:30)
- Second Turtle: 7:00
- Third Turtle: 12:00
Each Turtle gives 60 gold + exp to every living team member. Three Turtles = 180 gold advantage per player. That is an entire item component advantage.
Turret Priority
- Mid lane turret β Opens the entire map for vision and rotations
- Gold lane turret β Denies enemy marksman safe farm space
- EXP lane turret β Least impactful (fighter can still farm from range)
When to Take Lord
Lord is the win condition. ONLY start Lord when:
- You won a team fight (3+ enemies dead with 30s+ respawn timers)
- Enemy jungler is confirmed dead (guaranteed secure)
- All 3 lanes are pushed past the river (minions apply map pressure)
NEVER solo Lord without vision of all 5 enemies. You will get caught, killed, and the enemy will steal Lord. This single mistake loses games at Epic+ rank.
Phase 5: Late Game (12+ Minutes)
The 30-Second Rule
Before ANY major decision (Lord, push, contest buff):
- Check minimap β can you see all 5 enemies?
- If you see 4-5 enemies: DO NOT engage solo or face-check
- If you see 2-3 enemies: they are setting up an ambush nearby, ping caution
- If you see 0-1 enemies: they are at Lord or your base β rotate immediately
Team Fight Positioning
- Marksman: Back line behind tank, attack nearest target, do not chase
- Mage: Side angle for AoE burst, save escape skill
- Assassin: Wait in flank, go for backline after tank initiates
- Fighter: Front line adjacent, peel for carry if assassin dives
- Tank: Initiate, absorb skills, peel for back line
The team that engages first usually loses. Wait for the enemy tank to commit their initiation, then counter-engage.
Phase 6: Climbing Strategy
The 5-Hero Pool System
Main Role (play 70% of games):
- Hero A: Comfort pick (100+ matches, 55%+ win rate)
- Hero B: Meta counter (counters 3+ popular picks)
Flex Role (play 25%):
- Hero C: Roam tank (you must know one tank)
- Hero D: Jungler or Mid (whichever your secondary role is)
Emergency (play 5%):
- Hero E: Your most-played hero overall (safety net)
Never lock a hero with fewer than 30 ranked matches.
Session Management
- Win 2 games in a row? Keep playing (winning streak bonus)
- Lose 2 games in a row? STOP for 15 minutes
- Lose 3 games? END THE SESSION. Do not queue again today.
- Tilted? You will play worse. Your teammates will feel your negativity.
- The matchmaking system pairs tilting players together. Do not become one of them.
Phase 7: Settings Optimization
Controls
- Camera: Free camera mode (not follow hero)
- Skill aim: Manual aim (not basic aim)
- Minimap: Expand to 65% size
- Quick cast: Turn OFF for skillshot heroes
Graphics
- Turn off shadows for better frame rate
- Set particle effects to Low (easier to see skills through the clutter)
- Enable "Show allied hero HP bar" (critical for support players)
