Marvel Snap

Climbing in Marvel Snap as a Series 3 incomplete player is tough. Here are the best budget decks that don't need Series 4/5 cards.

Devil Dino Budget Deck (Best for Beginners)

Cards: Sunspot, Agent 13, Cable, Sentinel, Moon Girl, Devil Dino, White Queen, Klaw, Onslaught, America Chavez, Spectrum, Iron Man

  • Curve: Fill your hand with Sentinel and Moon Girl, drop double Devil Dino on turn 5-6
  • Priority: Play Moon Girl on turn 4, then Devil Dino x2 on turn 5 or 6
  • Counter: Enchantress (opponent uses) or Rogue is deadly against you
Snap Strategy for Budget Decks
- Snap on turn 5 if you have double Devil Dino in hand
- NEVER snap on turn 1-2 (opponent might have Shang-Chi)
- Retreat if opponent snaps and you haven't drawn Moon Girl by turn 3
- Against destroy decks, stay until turn 6 -- they often overcommit
- If you have priority on turn 6 and they snap, 70% chance they have Shang-Chi

Marvel Snap gameplay

SEA meta note: Discard decks are unusually popular in SEA servers. Devil Dino is a natural counter to Discard because you don't rely on specific combos -- you just play big stats. If you see Dracula and Helicarrier, stay in the game -- your Devil Dinos will out-stat their random discards. For climbing from Rank 30 to 60, Devil Dino is the most consistent budget deck available.
