Hay Day is one of the most popular farming games in SEA. Here's how to build an efficient farm layout without spending diamonds.

Optimal Farm Grid Layout

The Efficiency Principle

Group similar buildings together:

• All production buildings should be within 10 tiles of each other
• All animal pens should be adjacent to their feed source
• Crops should be in 5x5 blocks for optimal harvesting paths
• Trees need 2-tile gaps between each for maximum collection

Boat Order Strategy
- Always fill Wheat and Corn orders (fastest to grow)
- NEVER use diamonds to rush boat orders
- If a boat request is too expensive, skip it
- Focus on completing the puzzle pieces (3 per boat)
- Pre-craft for the next boat: check 45 minutes before arrival
- The 4th and 5th boat slot are worth unlocking with coins

SEA trading tip: Join a Hay Day neighborhood with active SEA players. Trading patterns: players from the Philippines sell more crops, players from Indonesia sell more dairy. This natural specialization benefits everyone. Set your roadside shop to sell excess wheat (always in demand) and use the coins to buy upgrade materials. The key to Hay Day progression is having ALL 9 production slots unlocked on your key buildings (bakery, dairy, sugar mill).
