CWL Base Layouts: Anti-2 Star TH16

A good CWL base forces attackers into a 1-star or a risky 3-star attempt. Here are the principles for building an anti-2 star TH16 layout.
Design Principles

Key Layout Features
- Town Hall in the center with 1-tile gap on all sides
- Single compartments throughout (not 2-in-1) to prevent value from log launcher
- Traps clustered around TH: 2x seeking air mines, 3x tornado traps, 4x giant bombs
- Clan Castle near TH but not adjacent -- lure should be risky
Suggested Wall Segments
- Level 16 walls: outer perimeter (prioritize)
- Level 15 walls: inner compartments
- Leave 2-3 entry points deliberately weak
- Trap the weak points with bombs + tornado
The meta shift: With the TH16 root rider nerf, the new threat is Super Archer Blimp. Place air mines along the expected blimp path and keep your Eagle Artillery away from the TH by at least 8 tiles. Test your base in friendly challenges before CWL starts -- a layout that looks good on paper often has holes that real attacks expose immediately.
