Enhancement Guide: PEN Tuvala Strategy

Enhancing gear to PEN (V) in Black Desert Mobile is the endgame gear goal. Here's the mathematical approach to maximize success.

The Failstack Strategy

Use failstacks to increase your next attempt:

• PRI attempts: Don't need failstacks (70% base is fine)
• DUO attempts: Build 10-15 failstacks from PRI fails
• TRI attempts: Build 20-25 failstacks from DUO fails
• TET attempts: Build 30-40 failstacks from TRI fails
• PEN attempts: Build 50+ failstacks from TET fails

Enhancement Priority List
1. Main Weapon first (biggest damage increase)
2. Sub-weapon second (accuracy + AP)
3. Armor third (survivability)
4. Helm fourth (mostly DP)
5. Gloves fifth (a bit of AP)
6. Shoes sixth (DP only)
7. Belt, Ring, Earring, Necklace (accessories last -- they're expensive)

The Cron Stone dilemma: Cron Stones prevent your gear from destroying but cost 250 pearls per 100. My recommendation: use Cron Stones for TET attempts ONLY. PRI/DUO/TRI fail rates are low enough that the cost of Cron Stones outweighs the benefit. For PEN attempts, ALWAYS use Cron Stones if you can afford them. One destroyed PEN Tuvala set piece costs more to replace than 500 Cron Stones would have cost to protect. This advice applies to the SEA server economy where silver is harder to come by than pearls.
